For the first time in the history of college, the research journal titled, ‘Crime against Women’ ISSN 2349-5685 was published in the session 2014-15 in which the teachers from our own college as well as other colleges contributed articles on the safety of women in India in the present times. It is heartening to note that teachers as well as students are showing keen interest in research work.
The research journal is going to be a regular feature of the college. It will go a long way to motivate the students and teachers of the college to step in a arena of research. The students are provided with appropriate guidance and inspiration to take up research work which will further groom their career.
Other publications
Annual Report:
The College also publishes Annual Report every year. It contains academic and co-academic achievements details of various seminars, workshops and extensions lectures organized by various departments. The activities of NCC and NSS are also included in the annual report. Infrastructural upgradation, research oriented activities are also highlighted in this report.
College Magazine:
The college Magazine “Lajpat” is published once in a year. Its purpose is to encourage students to learn the fine art of expressing themselves in English, Sanskrit, Hindi and Punjabi effectively. It also contains sections dealing with News, Science, Commerce, Computer Science and Social Sciences. Each section is under the charge of competent staff editors, under whose supervision, student editors function. Student editors are selected purely on merit, on the basis of a test organised by the Editorial Board under the guidance of the Principal.
